The first few days with Chloe...

The second day we had Chloe we decided to take her for her first visit to the vet.  She did such a great job! She had to receive two vaccinations, one was injected and the other was a nasal spray- she was a rock star for both of these!  The only thing she didn't care for was the thermometer... but that's expected!

Chloe was so comfortable that she fell asleep on the table.  She loves to sleep on cold surfaces, and that table was definitely colder than our 82 degree condo!

When I returned home, I found these two like this.

Welcome!

As you may know, Chloe joined our family on June 9, 2012.  She was around 10 weeks old when we picked her up from PA.  We decided to wait a little longer than is usual so I could finish up the school year and devote my time and energy to our little pup.  The breeder was great and worked with us to make it happen.

We picked Chloe out when she was 6 weeks old.  She changed so much in the month between the first time we met her and when we picked her up.

She was a champion car rider.  Chloe slept for most of the car ride and liked to snuggle (lucky me)!

On the way home we decided to pick up some of the dog food recommended by the breeder, so we stopped at a local pet store.  Chloe caught everyone's attention.  It was Jason's turn to hold her since she got to sit with me the whole ride home.

The first time I put her on a leash and took her outside she did great!

Stay tuned for more on Chloe...
